Building things with
the kind of care that
makes agents
feel inevitable.
Luis. Industrial engineer, CTO at Mozt. I build AI systems for Latin American operations and write about what works.
Notes from the workshop.
Essays on building, on building with AI, and on the practice of doing both from Guatemala.
Selected work.
A selection of the projects, ideas, and systems I've been building as an engineer, creator, and founder. How I'm learning, experimenting, and turning concepts into real solutions with purpose.

WSC 2025: Winter Simulation Conference
Team Member, Optimization & Modeling20252025WSC 2025: Winter Simulation Conference
Second place at the WSC 2025 Simulation Challenge in Seattle. A contextual-bandit policy that switches between heuristics based on scenario-specific congestion patterns at a fully automated container port.

Sunny
Solo build20262026Sunny
A personal AI assistant built on top of OpenClaw, with a security and observability layer wrapped around it. Layered identity, three checks on every decision, every delegation shown so nothing happens out of view.

Mozt's Vita
Co-founder, CTO20262026Mozt's Vita
An AI WhatsApp receptionist for clinics in Latin America, evolving into a two-sided healthcare and wellness platform. Agentic AI wrapped in safety and process layers dense enough to deploy in healthcare.

MONIAC Guatemala
Data Analysis20262026MONIAC Guatemala
A physical hydraulic model of the Guatemalan economy, built by an academic group at UVG. Calibrating Banguat's 2013 input-output table to the 105 sectors that the machine's pipes and reservoirs need to be sized against.

App Idea Factory
Solo build20262026App Idea Factory
A three-pipeline factory that scrapes, scores, and specs app ideas while I sleep, then drops the winning brief into Slack as a Canvas I can read on the bus.

Who is writing this.
I am Luis Enrique Ton Liang. Most people call me Chijong.
Industrial engineer, co-founder and CTO at Mozt, fourth year at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. Born in Guatemala in 2004. Most of the doors I have walked through I credit to faith more than to my own planning. At Mozt we build AI systems for operations across Latin America. Vita, our first vertical, is an AI receptionist for medical clinics.
Industrial engineering's mindset for systems and processes, applied to AI as a substrate for new products. Operator's instinct over architect's: ship before you over-plan. One shipped thing beats ten almost-shipped ones. This site is the workshop where I write about that work.

I read every message. Best for project conversations, research crossovers, and questions about what I publish here. Slow on cold pitches.
